I needed a new battery for my BMW. I didn’t wanna go to the dealership because it further than I wanted to drive. My granddaughter had had her car worked on in South Carolina so I thought I would check into the one here in Winston-Salem see if they worked on BMW. It was such an easy online thing to set up and the communication between the technician was great. They checked my car thoroughly, replaced my battery and other things that needed done. I definitely would recommend Christian Brother and so happy they do repairs on BMW because I’ll be taking mine there from now on

From what I've witnessed from this shop, Christian Bothers Robinhood is no different from any other mechanic shop. My better half took her vehicle to this shop for repairs. After reading the online reviews. She explained what the issue was with her vehicle. She was charged for not one, but two diagnostics inspections. From their diagnostic inspection it focused on other issues besides what the vehicle was brought there for. None of these repairs fixed the initial problem. No resolution was giving except for process of elimination. After a few thousand of dollars were spent. The shop was informed of the issue before hand. She was told those issues could fix the problem. They did not fix the problem. So it seemed this garage's focused on unrelated issues they knew the could fix easily. After my better half spoke with the manager (I'm assuming his name was Gene). It seemed more like a money grab, than actually getting to the root of the problem. Or resolving the problem on why the vehicle was there in the first place. Accusing her of wanting something for free, after she had already paid a high amount for the service she had done that did not address the initial issue. Do your due dil

Final update: 1. My check engine light came on when I took the car home after the repair. Took it back. Tech explained it was due to the aftermarket part being used which is why he recommended the $9995.00 converter that I declined since I didn’t want a $13,000 repair bill. My husband asked if the 02 sensors could be the issue. The tech said no. They had replaced one and the rest checked out ok. I took my car to another shop the following week. Turns out there was a bad 02 sensor. I have an invoice to show that I replaced it. 2. My battery was checked off as being good and they offered to clean the terminals for a nice fee. I had that done previously by them but I declined this time. My car would not start the following week and left me stranded at work. Turns out when it was removed , the battery was swollen on one end and leaking acid which might explain why the terminals were so corroded. I have the invoice where I replaced the battery. 3. Three weeks after the repair we heard a rattle in the rear when we pressed on the brake. We thought it might be the rear stabilizer link they replaced this last visit. We are not experts so wanted to be sure. . My husband took

This was my first time getting service and it was amazing. They provided a courtesy inspection and everything was thorough with pictures and presentations on why it is important for the car part to be maintained and even what it is used for. The customer service was amazing as well. I feel welcomed with the complimentary coffee, chips etc and there’s a waiting are plus bathroom if you choose to stay and not drop off. They also provide you with a link and a breakdown of what you want to approve and decline for the repairs. 1000/10. Definitely recommend and I will definitely go back there!

I had a great experience at Christian Brothers Automotive (Winston-Salem). I came in with my Ford F-150 for a tune-up and an air conditioning repair, and the entire process was smooth, professional, and refreshingly low-pressure. The staff was extremely helpful and informative from start to finish. They completed the repairs in a timely manner, and I really appreciated how transparent they were throughout the process. They showed me pictures and video of the components that needed attention and took the time to walk me through what was necessary now versus what could reasonably wait. That level of honesty and communication is hard to find. Gene, the owner, was fantastic as usual, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and clearly committed to taking care of customers. Pete was incredible in managing the repairs and customer service, keeping everything organized and making sure I understood exactly what was happening with my vehicle. If you’re looking for an honest, professional auto repair shop with outstanding customer service and no high-pressure tactics, I highly recommend them.
